Course overview
An 8-week in-person Mindfulness and Digital Wellbeing course. The course will run from 7 to 9pm UK time on Thursday evenings from 14th January to 4th March 2027, online via Zoom. This course is on a pay-what-you-can basis.
What it is
This eight-week course is designed to create lasting change in the role digital technology plays in our lives, to change our habits of distraction into ones of presence. In a supportive group environment, we will explore the habits we wish to change, examining what drives them and what we can do to change them. With a planned and structured programme, we will seek to break our existing habits, and reintroduce digital technologies in a way which supports, rather than detracts from, our wellbeing. Alongside this, we will develop a mindfulness practice, to strengthen our capacity for awareness and presence, and to ensure the benefits of this course last.
This course is delivered by Simo Bradley, a qualified mindfulness teacher.
Who it is for
This course is for anyone who wants to change the role that digital technology plays in their life. You might feel that you spend more time on your phone than you'd like, find yourself endlessly scrolling or checking apps without meaning to, struggle to stay focused or simply feel that technology is taking up more of your time and attention than you want it to. You don't need to have a serious problem with technology to benefit from the course — it is for anyone who wants to develop a more intentional and balanced relationship with their digital life.
The course is focused on wellbeing, mindfulness and changing everyday habits. It is not therapy or mental health treatment, and as such is not appropriate for people suffering from serious mental distress.
Cost
This course is delivered on a pay-what-you-can basis, meaning participants can pay as much or as little as they like - including nothing!
